Breathe - We are Alive!

Yesterday, we were walking home, when we saw a neighbor pulling things out of her home and garage to put on the curb for anyone to take. We asked if she needed help, and she started giving us things to take home. Through tears she spoke of the demise of divorce, and the sadness of a very very long and emotionally abusive relationship. And, yet, she had also found love after loss. She did not dismiss the years of hell that she lived through by any stretch. In fact, I will remember this very REAL conversation from a complete stranger for a very long time. For we rarely talk this candidly to one another as friends let alone as neighbors and strangers.
